This is the birthplace of the legendary Rashtrakavi Kuvempu (Kuppali Venkatappa Puttappa), one of India’s greatest poets and writers. In this vlog, we explore: 🏠 Kavi Mane: The beautifully restored, 3-story ancestral home of Kuvempu. From the traditional courtyard (Thotti Mane) to his personal belongings, wedding invitations, and rare photographs, this place feels like a time machine. 🪨 Kavi Shaila: A short walk uphill takes us to a magical rock monument reminiscent of Stonehenge. This is where Kuvempu used to sit, look out over the Sahyadri mountains, and find inspiration for his timeless literature. It is also his final resting place (Samadhi). If you love literature, old-world architecture, or just peaceful, misty mountain vibes, Kuppalli is an absolute must-visit!
