Tenere 700 aftermarket plastics | Cheaper and Lighter!

Everyone talks about crash bars and side shroud guards, but have you actually added up the weight and cost? In this video I break down why I went a completely different direction: cheap aftermarket plastics from Rtech through TMBR, a solid skid plate, and good hand guards — and why I think it's the better setup for most adventure and dual sport riders. Rtech plastics run the same price or less than most armor setups, weigh significantly less, and when you go down, you're replacing a cheap panel — not repairing bent steel or a cracked OEM shroud. Meanwhile your stock plastics stay clean and protected for resale. I also lay the bike flat on the ground and show you exactly what contacts the surface — spoiler, the plastics survive. Big thanks to TMBR Moto out of Idaho for carrying these parts! Beyond carrying Rtech plastics, he also designs his own custom graphics kits for the Tenere 700 — including fitments for some rtech plastics. I really am coming around to the age-old wisdom that lighter is better.
