Trogotronic m/277 Tube VCA 3/5: Stereo Processing (LMS EE)
This third movie on the m/277 focuses on stereo applications. In addition to processing stereo signals, the input to the second VCA is normalled to the input of the first one, so you can convert a mono signal into stereo either by using the m/277 as a stereo panner, or by dialing in different settings for the left and right channel. Since the m/277 treats a sound differently depending on how loud it is, changes in the input level – either from normal envelopes, or even just beating between two VCAs – causes the final sound to appear to pan in stereo. 0:00 overview 0:20 stereo panning behavior 2:01 auto-panning with an LFO 2:55 pseudo-stereo For more background thoughts on using the module, join my Patreon channel: / learningmodular These movies are part of my Eurorack Expansion course on LearningModular.com: https://learningmodular.com/register/...
