*NICE VOITH* Diamond Buses 32136 YJ14 CCE Wright Pulsar 2 VDL SB200 Route 76

Here is Diamond 32136 operating the 76 from Tamworth to Sutton Coldfield and filmed from Minworth to Sutton Coldfield. I finally managed to find one of Diamond's Wright Pulsar 2s that isn't awfully slow! 32136 sounds and performs much better than sister 32135 - it also holds a 32136 is last Wright Pulsar ever built. This bus signalled the end of a 7 year production run of Wright Pulsars. The Wright Pulsar saw multiple generations with different styling and more efficient engine specs. Production ended in 2014 when VDL chose not to make a Euro-6 version of the VDL SB200 chassis. After 32136, only a handful of 65-plate VDL SB180 MCV Evolution 2s were produced before VDL completely exited the UK low-floor bus market for good. The Pulsar was made almost entirely for Arriva, so Wrightbus designed it how they wanted it. Whilst Arriva owned most Pulsars, a small number exist outside of the group. Claribells purchased several throughout the years and some other independents also purchased a handful. The non-Arriva ones typically have the green seat moquette and grey seat backs rather than blue (although a few non-Arriva ones do have the blue seat backs for some reason).
