Saptarishi Arati is a powerful process taught by Shiva to his disciples - the seven sages - thousands of years ago. The process has been preserved in its pure form by priests of the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. Every year, on winter solstice, seven priests from Kashi conduct the Saptarishi Arati to offer gratitude to the Saptarishis for being a vehicle for Shiva’s grace.
