Vintage Noorduyn Norseman flight from CWHM in Hamilton

Here's my flight in a vintage Noorduyn Norseman Mk. V airplane from Hamilton Airport. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum owns and operates this Norseman. The flight was around the area over Caledonia, Hamilton, and Ancaster. Most Norseman airplanes were used on floats and skis as bush planes operating in the Canadian North. I was fortunate to sit beside the pilot for this flight so I could see him advance the throttles when I wasn't looking outside the airplane. This type was known as the UC-64A Norseman in USAF service in WW2, and surprisingly, they were fitted with seats for 10. The roar of the Pratt & Whitney R-1340 engine on takeoff is incredible. Now, on the wheeled landing gear, this one is based at CWHM at Hamilton Airport. It was a beautiful day for a flight, even with some clouds.
