Glory Days (Central TV) - Wolves 1980 League Cup Winners

'Glory Days' was an eight part series broadcast on Central Television in 2008. Presented by Stan Collymore, each 30 minute show concentrated on one Midlands based club and highlighted some of their finest achievements. Clips from matches were combined with interviews with certain players involved in their club's success. With regard to Wolves, 'Glory Days' focussed on their 1974 and 1980 League Cup victories over Manchester City and Nottingham Forest respectively. Unfortunately, the uploaded footage is of the 1980 success only. Former players Geoff Palmer, Andy Gray, Willie Carr, John Richards, Kenny Hibbitt and Mel Eves, in addition to manager John Barnwell, are all interviewed and offer their recollection of their League Cup Final defeat of Forest at Wembley on 15th March 1980.
