Smt. Geetha Mohan Ram Samarpan at Sivam (March-2018)_63rd

Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled “SAMARPAN” on the 4th Sunday of every month at SHIVAM, Hyderabad (however, this month it is being held on 5th Saturday). It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with DIVINE association through SAMARPAN. The Sixty third SAMARPAN is being held at SHIVAM on the evening of 31st March 2018. We are truly blessed to have Smt. Geetha Mohan Ram as the speaker for the day. Smt. Geetha Mohan Ram comes from a family of devotees that has been in Swami’s service for more than six decades. Her grand uncle Sri Sheshagiri Rao was Swami’s personal attendant for more than 20 years. He was also the first priest at Prashanthi Nilayam when it was built in 1950. Her father Dr. Padmanabhan a renowned dental surgeon, was very dear to Swami and served in various organizational capacities at Whitefield, Bangalore till 2008. Many might recognize him as the person who walked behind Swami during darshans in Whitefield. Smt. Geetha Mohan Ram’s mother Smt. Kamala Padmanabhan was appointed by Swami to be the SSE (Sathya Sai Education) coordinator for Karnataka state in India which she served with distinction for 25 years. In 1978, her marriage to Sri Mohan Ram was performed in the Divine Presence at Whitefield. Their twin sons Varun and Arun, were born in 1981 and named by Swami. Seven years later, Swami directed the family to go to USA and they settled in Maryland/Washington DC, where Sri Mohan worked in NASA satellite operations. She taught kindergarten children in a private school for 17 years and was awarded the “Best Teacher of the Year” for five years in a row. On Swami’s command and with HIS blessings, Smt. Geetha Mohan Ram has been sharing her most intimate and wonderful experiences of our beloved Lord in various parts of the world for the past 20 years.
