Today I was in the cheapest Airbnb in the world. I discovered this house by chance when I was looking for accommodation in Bangkok. At first I thought it must be a mistake, but when I looked at the advert I realised it was real. There was actually an Airbnb here for 2.50 per night. I have travelled a lot and I had never seen a price like that before. And the 2.50 dollars was for a room, he had other rooms that were even cheaper. Here you can get a bed for 60 cents US dollars. It was a rainy day in Bangkok and I set off from my hotel with air conditioning to the cheapest Airbnb in the world. I booked a taxi and the driver drove in front of me to my new home. I went to the seven eleven as it was very close to my destination. I started looking for my new home in the narrow streets. A few messages later to my new host I finally found my way. The Airbnb belongs to Boss, he is a very nice person and prepared me well for my overnight stay. His uncle was with him and he accompanied me to the property. It was a quiet, pleasant area that was very peaceful, which I liked. When I got there, Boss gave me my key from the post office and led me to my room. It was a room on the ground floor with a locked door. A bamboo bed with an insect net for mosquitoes. Fresh bed linen, a bath towel, water and toilet paper were also ready for my stay. Of course there was also Wi-Fi here, which was surprisingly good. So you will be provided with everything you need at this unbeatable price. After the host showed me the room, he led me around the property. He showed me the kitchen, the fridge, the bathroom and also his room where he always sleeps. I immediately felt very comfortable and the host was very friendly. I went back to my room to get settled in my new home. After I had unpacked, I decided to take a shower because it was very hot in Bangkok. I went into the bathroom where a bucket of water was already waiting for me. I had forgotten my shampoo but the host always has shampoo for the guests so you don't need to bring your own. I enjoyed my shower and then went back to my room. On the way to the Airbnb I had bought something to eat at a street food stall. It was fried noodles with some rice and a fried egg. The whole thing cost me 30 Thai Baht. I took the first bite and was very surprised how delicious it was. Unfortunately I didn't know the name of the dish. If anyone knows please post it in the comments, I would love to cook it. When I had finished eating I relaxed a bit on my bed. It was a bit hard for me but it was okay for one night. In this video I show you how a normal person lives. And because of this experience I booked this Airbnb. I was really looking forward to it and was happy that I could finally be there and have this wonderful experience. Millions of Thai people live the way I show it here. I liked the simplicity and the positive attitude of the boss in the host made me feel at home. In the evening I had to shower again because it was still very hot. Then it was time for bed and I slept. The next morning I woke up I had slept a whole 7 hours and was well rested. The night was OK with the fan and the mosquito net. I packed my things and got ready for checkout. Because Boss was such a good host and helped me a lot, I left him 500 Thai Baht as a tip under my pillow. It was a wonderful experience and I am glad I was able to experience it. I can recommend anyone who wants to stay cheaply in Bangkok to book Airbnb from Boss. I am sure you will have a wonderful time and you will save a lot of money. #thailand #foreignerinthailand #cheapestairbnbintheworld #cheapesthotelintheworld #bangkokhouse #bangkokapartment #cheapplacebangkok #bangkokholiday #thailandholidays #khaosanroad #khaosanroadbangkok #cheaphotelthailand
