In this video, I'm taking a look at the LUBRICKS Railflex diesel locomotive 212 039-2 (V100.2) and the matching buffer stop set. The locomotive comes as a licensed Railflex version with 974 pieces, a sturdy display base, numerous printed details – and a price of €89.99, which seems a bit high for what's offered. The brick quality is good, the build is enjoyable, and the locomotive is a very accurate representation of the prototype. Driving functions can be added with an optional motor, although rubber rings for the wheels would be useful for smoother starting. The buffer stop set includes four identical units for €19.99 – generally a fair price, but with several errors in the instructions that make assembly difficult.
