This foundation is a continuation of the Marturia Cooperation Agency HKBP, which was established decades ago. VISION: "A Congregation That Sinks to Become a Blessing" MISSION: 1. Raising awareness among congregations and ministers about the necessity of sinking. (1 Corinthians 9:16) 2. Equipping congregations and ministers to be willing and able to evangelize personally. 3. Preaching, internalizing, and implementing God's Word STRATEGIES: 1. Community Service 2. Training 3. Singing through the Threefold Call of the Church 4. Improving cooperation with District Pastors, Resort Pastors, and Congregational Leaders 5. Utilizing multimedia for Evangelism In recent years, YBKKS has focused more on proclaiming the Gospel through several ministries: 1. Spreading God's Word online, following the Liturgical Order and Almanac of the HKBP, which can be accessed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. 2. Conducting Evangelism Training to prepare all church members to become evangelists in their daily lives. The evangelism method used is Evangelism Through Friendship, often called "Evangelism Explosion" (EE Method). Training is provided to children (called EE Kids), teenagers (4G), and adults. Thousands have been trained, both in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), Sumatra, and Kuala Lumpur. 3. YBKS also shares the Gospel of Christ with inmates in correctional institutions and detention centers throughout Greater Jakarta, even as far away as Nusakambangan, to help them turn from evil and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 4. The Gospel is also preached through ministry to the sick in dozens of hospitals in Greater Jakarta, so they can maintain hope for healing and eternal life in Jesus. 5. YBKSM also serves our parents in the Nursing Home in Cipayung, and our brothers and sisters with mental illnesses in the Galuh Orphanage. Several years ago, it served the government social home in Cibadak for those with mental illnesses and victims of HIV/AIDS. 6. YBKS also provides services to mature the faith of the congregation in Bona Pasogit, North Sumatra, and even South Sumatra, Riau, and Jambi. 7. YBKS provides guidance and services to victims of occultism (the power of darkness). 8. YBKS spreads God's Word through daily devotions distributed through social media. It also holds Bible discussions via Zoom. 9. Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, YBKS has been holding nightly intercessory prayers via Zoom.
