What makes the Onix XM2 unique?

There are cheap DAPs, there are Android DAPs, there are premium Android DAPs, and then... there are premium cheap DAPs. OK, some people just prefer to not have Android on their audio players, and the Onix Tocata XM2 obliges. But it also comes with "flagship" audio hardware and possibly the best display I've ever seen on an MP3 player. Does that make it worth $440? I lived with the XM2 to find out. This is my review.
