There is no doubt that Dr. Ambedkar took this historic and extreme step to project the evils of Hinduism, especially untouchability and its related discrimination. If Babasaheb desired, he could have adopted Islam or Christianity, but it can only be termed as his greatness that he chose an Indian religion for himself and his followers.
