BNSF Mountain Subdivision (G Scale) Coal Operations - Overview
Follow along as I provide this video depicting an overview of coal operations on my g scale layout. Watch as I load live coal loads into AML coal porters. Yes I said real live coal from Utah. Then chase a 24 car loaded coal train requiring 7 locomotives to pull the 240 pound coal train over the mountain sub. This operation requires the use of manned mid train helpers. Last but not least watch as the coal is unloaded from the hoppers on a live operation rotary coal dumper. It does not get much more realistic than this! Be sure to like, comment, share & subscribe.
