I call this the "The MAGIC MOMENT" to describe what happens when your puppet comes to life for the first time. It is an amazing moment when it can become anything you want it to be, but usually it just happens! Discovery of character, personality, life, voice, eye contact, manipulation all come together at this moment. Sometimes it's immediate, sometimes it comes in stages over time.
