Of the many eel chip entrepreneurs, Citra Rasa eel chips are one of them. Citra Rasa was founded by Wartiyem and her husband in 2001. Initially, she said, she didn't even think about production. She simply supplied raw eel ingredients to Godean market. Initially, production was small-scale. She only fried 10 kilograms of eel each day and sold them directly at Godean market. At that time, the packaging for selling eel chips was very simple and basic. Currently, Citra Rasa's eel chip business has grown significantly. Thousands of eels are kept in a large pond at Wartiyem's house. These eels are the raw material for making the chips. Some of the eels imported from East and West Java are cleaned, washed, seasoned, and mixed with flour, then fried. This resident of Klaci II, RT 04, Margoluwih Village, Seyegan, Sleman, can produce one quintal of eel chips per day. In addition to selling them through her home showroom and the Godean Culinary Market, the "Citra Rasa" eel chips are also marketed outside the region. Wartiyem maintains a high level of quality in her business. This is evident in the quality of the eel raw materials, which are processed fresh. The quality of the spices, flour, and oil is also given great attention. Frying is done daily so there are no outdated products. They are almost always refreshed. After frying, the eel chips are packaged into thick plastic bags of varying sizes. She packages them based on quality level.
