Exploring beautiful Concordia Cemetery

Today’s adventure takes us to Forest Park, Illinois, just outside Chicago, and to Concordia Cemetery. With around 45,000 graves, this cemetery holds countless stories, and I’m going to share a few with you. From a B-24 pilot shot down in WWII, to a Civil War soldier who survived after being shot six times and left for dead for 13 days, to those who tragically perished in the Eastland disaster of 1915—there’s much to uncover as we explore Concordia Cemetery.
