1943 Handmade Desk Restoration

This unique, one-drawer desk had me hooked the moment I saw it—its strange angles, handmade construction, and even a handwritten date from 1943 carved inside. What started as a “quick flip” turned into a full-blown restoration project. I rebuilt the broken drawer, uncovered stunning quarter sawn oak grain, removed staining, and finished it with a custom Odie’s Oil blend for a soft, mission-style look.
