This is an unchangeable law. 3. Good Deeds Bring Blessings: If you come with iman and righteous deeds, you will be rewarded with Jannah. Your minor sins are expiated through the hardships of this world – illness, loss of wealth, loss of loved ones – so that you are cleansed on Judgment Day. 4. The Alternation of Days (Dawal al-Ayyam): One day is for you, one day is against you. In Badr, the Muslims killed 70. In Uhud, they lost 70. Allah alternates days between people. This world is not meant to be constant – only the Hereafter is permanent. 5. The Believer's Response: The Prophet ﷺ said: "Amazing is the affair of the believer. All of it is good." If good comes, they show gratitude (shukr). If hardship comes, they show patience (sabr). Either way, they win. 6. The Purpose of Trials: Allah tests you to make it clear who is truthful and who is a liar. The greatest tests are for the prophets, then the righteous. You are tested in accordance to your religion. Don't think you will enter Jannah without being tested. 7. Provision and Barakah Come Through Iman and Taqwa: If the people of the towns had believed and had taqwa, Allah would have opened blessings from the heavens and earth. But they disbelieved, and punishment came. The formula for barakah is consistent and unchanging. 8. Happiness is Only in Obedience: Whoever follows Allah's guidance will have no fear or grief. Whoever turns away from remembrance will have a hard life in this world and will be blind in the Hereafter. The path to a good life (hayat tayyibah) is through iman.
