In TF1 (Transformers 2007), Megatron is the main villain. The entire film is built around the Decepticons trying to release him. He was menacing and incredibly powerful. In fact, 2007 Megatron is the strongest character in the Bayverse. However, Megatron got WAY weaker in the later installments of the Bayverse film series.
