With the launch of the JB-KL ETS service starting 12 December 2025, this marks probably the final time I’ll be doing the usual Gemas transit. 🇲🇾🚆 Gemas has served as the key railway junction connecting Malaysia's West Coast Line and East Coast Line since its original construction around 1906, evolving into the primary KTM Intercity-ETS interchange point for the southern sector since 9 May 2016 when KTM Intercity services were massively rationalised and truncated.
