Whirlpool Washer Calibration (VMW)

(I recommend removing power from the washing machine for at least one minute before calibration - by unplugging it, or if a circuit breaker or an on/off switch can be used. I removed power with an on/off switch before this calibration.) Several YouTube videos mention another step for a reset - after powering on the washer with the lid closed, wait 30 seconds then lift and close the lid six times within 12 seconds. (Try this if the calibration mode doesn’t work - otherwise the one minute remove power option should be enough before a successful calibration program run.)
