Power Carving a Shallow Bowl | Woodworking Jig Hack | Turning Wood
This power carving jig allows for carving large, symmetrical style platters and wooden bowls effortlessly. In the video, co-founder of Arbortech Tools, Kevin @kevsshed9561, explores woodturning without a lathe using the Arbortech Power Carving Unit & Mini TURBO, along with a cleverly attached pulley and chain mechanism. In the second part of this process, the Levelling Jig and TURBOPlane are attached to the Power Carving Unit to skillfully craft a convex shape on the outer surface. These two steps create a seamless workflow, enabling woodworkers to effortlessly create smooth platters and bowls with skill and precision.
