In the year 1999, Ashok Kapur, Harkirat Singh & Ranak Kapur established an NBFC, which later became Yes Bank in the year 2003. 2008-2015 was the year of internal fight at Yes Bank. In 2015, Yes Bank was asked to recognise NPA & report to RBI, which it did not report. Later in 2018, rating agencies began downgrading the Bank.
