Ukraine has its own “Hummer”! The new light armored vehicle for logistics and rapid delivery of infantry “Desna” (UAT.DESNA) has already been officially codified by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This means that after successful tests, the vehicle was allowed for serial production and delivery to the Defense Forces. The new tactical vehicle “Desna” is a unique development of the Ukrainian company “UKR ARMO TECH”. The vehicle has its own chassis, which was designed specifically to perform complex military missions in extremely difficult conditions. According to the developers, UAT.DESNA should replace the so-called “stubs” (civilian cars) that our fighters currently use for front-line logistics. Technical characteristics (TTX) of UAT.DESNA: – Body dimensions: length — 5.35 m, width — 2.7 m, height — only 2 m (no higher than most civilian SUVs). Such dimensions provide low visibility in field conditions, stability during sharp maneuvers and high cross-country ability. – Obstacle overcoming: able to overcome fords up to 70 cm deep. – Speed: accelerates on the road to 110 km/h. – Cabin capacity: accommodates a driver and four infantrymen (1+4). – Load capacity: with a gross weight of only 8.3 tons, the maximum payload weight reaches 1.5 tons. ❗️New contracts with fixed terms https://army.gov.ua/ A few words about the Army Media team - it consists of regular military personnel, volunteers and mobilized personnel who have been serving in the Defense Forces since the first days of the full-scale invasion in various directions and in various units.
