Penelope and Bart first solo date on Zoom

Penelope's World follows Penelope Stephens as she attempts to find love, sucess, and personal fulfillment. It is a light-hearted, fictional account of a single woman in her 40s trying to make it in the world. A large majority of the content is improvised, and the story development is influenced by audience comments. Penelope is played by Rebecca Deupree, and her love interest, Bart Matthews, is played by Rebecca's real-life husband, Carter Deupree. Some of the filming is done by their daughter, Peggy Deupree.
