Hyperborea | Victorian Conspiracy and Nazi Obsession
I meant to mention this in the video, but the word "Aryan" is loaded today in a way in which it was not in Tilak's time. I use that word in this video because that is the word that Tilak uses in his book, but the 19th-century understanding of the word "Aryan" was much more broad than the 21st-century understanding. In the 19th-century, the word "Aryan" meant pretty much everyone of European, Middle-Eastern, or South-West Asian descent, and especially people of North-Indian and Middle-Eastern descent. That is how it is intended in Tilak's book, and that is how I mean it in this video. I apologize for not clarifying this in the video proper. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/AdelaideBeema...
