Afghanistans KUNAR province broke my heart ( extreme travel )

#afghanistan #afghani #kunar Kunar , Afghanistan, this was the end of a very long exhausting weeks trip to Nuristan, this was an unexpected stop as we were camping and had tofind a place to set up camp...we saw this empty flat land by the bridge from the road, but once we drove all the way there, it was a dead end...the rest you can see, the week had taken its toll on us all at this point , with exhaustion, very little food and you can see, The poverty situation in these villages all over Afghanistan is dire, i visited the only clinic with minimal medications and 100-150 people each day showing up! They are so remote in these places that they say they get forgotten by WFP and many other NGOs.
