Slabbing Stones for Cabochons

In our many rock hunts throughout the great lakes, we gathered a pretty big bowl of larger rocks we wanted to cut open. I took advantage of our 70+ degree weather to cut some of these stones open and make some slabs. I used a combination of camera and iphone to record everything, so it may not be in perfect chronological order, but you'll get to see the starting rocks, the cutting, and the end results. Cutting rocks takes a LOT of time, so I sped up the cutting process by 16x to save you from watching the extended process.
