After a fun weekend in Indy with my uncle at the Indianapolis 500, it was return day from Indy. The Indianapolis 500 was such a fun event and the atmosphere was spectacular. The popularity of the NTT IndyCar Series is deserving because the races are almost always competitive and based off of strategy. Next year, I am hoping to go to the event with one of my gaming friends and I must say that I am starting to have fun covering flight reports. Sadly, there was a 7 hour delay on my flight due to a thunderstorm in the NYC Metro Area and several flights to LGA, JFK and EWR were delayed, and our flight to Newark was the only one to run in the PM hours because every other flight to Newark got cancelled by United. I will give United their credit. Just like the other big two carriers, United was very accommodating to those who had connections to their respective destinations and connected some through other United hubs like IAD, ORD, or IAH. United was very professional about the situation and I am glad they were nice about everything. After this flight, I got some rest in preparation for training for a program.
