‘Everything I want, wants me more’ brings together two artists whose works dive into the universe of objects we recognise as definitory for our time, either right now or for the recent past. Dimitrie Luca Gora and Mihai Dumitriu intervene, react, play and reflect on their surfaces, remarking who they are, expressing sensitive, individual perspectives, on infinitely replicated, mass produced cores. For them objects are test-sites, mirrors, spring-boards for the imagination and sites for contained reflection. Their works make me wonder, does something that has been re-produced a 1000 times have a soul?
