The second day of Hanisha and Yuvraj’s wedding was a true spectacle of Indian traditions and rituals, held at the stunning Vandelli Botanical Garden in Lisbon. The ceremony began with the Jaimala, where the bride and groom exchanged floral garlands, symbolizing mutual acceptance. This was followed by the Kanyadaan, a ritual in which the bride’s father gives his daughter to the groom, passing on the responsibility to care for her. The Feraat, where the groom circles the sacred fire seven times, was accompanied by chanting of mantras, symbolizing vows of loyalty and prosperity. At each stage, Hanisha and Yuvraj’s families celebrated the love and union with vibrant energy, in harmony with the spirituality and beauty of Indian culture.
