Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance G-BZRS responding to an incident in Basingstoke

On October 12th, 2025, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) responded to an incident in Basingstoke town centre. The Airbus H135 G-BZRS helicopter, a replacement from HIOWAA partners at Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore, was on duty. Regular G-HIOW helicopter went away for its annual service over the weekend. Kudos to the skilled pilot and the whole ‪@hiowaa‬ crew members for their life-saving service 365 days a year, both day and night. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is an air ambulance service serving the counties of Hampshire and Isle of Wight in South East England. It is one of a number of air ambulance services in the United Kingdom. The service began operating on 1 July 2007. In April 2021, it reached 10,000 missions.
