9th Muharram Central Azadari Procession Concludes Peacefully in Sheen Bagh, Attock Watch the exclusive coverage of the traditional 9th Muharram-ul-Haram procession in Village Sheen Bagh, Attock. The central procession commenced from the residence of Syed Imran Bukhari at 10:00 AM, drawing a massive gathering of local mourners and devotees from surrounding areas to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of Karbala. Despite the intense summer heat, a soothing breeze and cold water spray along the routes kept the spirit of the azadars high. The procession featured the sacred Alam Pak, Zuljinah, and Jhola, with mourners performing heart-rending Noha Khwani, Matam, and heavy Zanjir Zani. Under the administrative supervision of Assistant Commissioner Attock, Muhammad Arif Qureshi, excellent security arrangements were ensured. Furthermore, the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Asfandiyar Bukhari Attock, Dr. Jawad Elahi, along with his medical team and Rescue 1122 personnel, remained actively deployed to provide immediate first-aid to the injured mourners. Special free water and milk stalls (Sabeels) were also set up by the local Malik community, District Council staff, and welfare organizations to serve the azadars. The procession successfully culminated at Imam Bargah Hussainia Shin Bagh at 12:30 PM, followed by Majalis-e-Aza.
