In this Bible class from the Kempner Church of Christ, we continue our study through the books of Judges and Ruth by examining Judges 9–11. We discuss the rise and fall of Abimelech, God's judgment upon wicked leadership, Israel's repeated cycle of sin and repentance, the judges Tola and Jair, and the account of Jephthah and his controversial vow. This study highlights God's justice, mercy, and faithfulness even during some of Israel's darkest periods.
