Jim Riggs at the Mighty Wurlitzer, Feb 1993 at the Fargo Theatre

Renowned theatre organist Jim Riggs was a guest artist for the Red River Theatre Organ Society (RRTOS) in February, 1993 at the Fargo Theatre. He performed on the RRTOS's 3/15 Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ for an audience of several hundred. The Fargo Theatre's original 2/7 Style E X Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ was expanded to 3/9, then 3/15 instrument. The 3-manual console was a reconditioned church Wurlitzer console purchased from First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD by the RRTOS and installed in the theatre in 1979. The organ has been expanded more over the years and the current instrument is a 4/32 Wurlitzer. Organized in 1965 as a chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society, the Red River Theatre Organ Society (RRTOS) is centered in the community of Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN.
