The Dao De Jing - Part 5
Here in the final episode of a new five-part series we take a close look at one of the world’s most influential wisdom texts the Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching). Allegedly written by Lao Zi (Lao Tzu) in the 6th century BCE, these 81 “chapters” or verses form the core of Daoist scripture. In this episode we read and explore chapters 68, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76, 78, 79, 81, and 67. In this video I'm using the Stephen Mitchell translation from Harper Perennial, New York, 1988.
