Mora, Alentejo – More Than Just a Pit Stop on the N2! 🇵🇹 Most people just drive through Mora on Portugal’s famous N2 road, but trust us—you’re missing out! In this video, we take the time have a little wonder around this village. 📍 First stop – we got our N2 passports stamped at the local tourism board, officially marking our journey. 🛠️ Then, things got hands-on! We joined an incredible wood workshop with Jorge Caetano Varandas (I  / jorgevarandascaetano  , where we watched him skillfully craft a honey dipper. The craftsmanship was next level! 🐝 Next up, bees! We visited a fee farm (yep, that’s a thing!) and learned all about these fascinating creatures with António Canhoto. Spoiler alert: bees are way cooler than we ever realized. 🍽️ And then… food. We had the chance to attend Mora’s annual Game Dinner, a unique event where local restaurants come together to serve incredible dishes made from wild game. A true foodie’s dream! 🥖 But that’s not all—Mora is currently attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the longest Migas (a traditional dish from Alentejo). We love a Village with big dreams and a passion for good food! 🗿 If you ever visit, don’t miss the Megalithism Museum and the Fluviário (a fascinating freshwater aquarium). Mora may be small, but it’s packed with history, culture, and surprises. 🚗 So next time you’re driving the N2, don’t just pass through—stop and explore!
