Max Steel Venganza de Makino [Película 8]

A bit of history: After Mattel brought together all the active Max Steel villains in a single movie, one stage had ended, and now the anticipation was for the introduction of a new villain. On July 5, 2011, the name Makino was leaked as a possible new enemy, and a few days later, an image of his figure was released. The following September 16, the Makino figure was unveiled, and besides confirming that it didn't have the DVD of the movie, it surprised everyone with its excellent quality. That same September, Cartoon Network began advertising this villain and, consequently, the movie. Meanwhile, after a one-day advance notice, the Brazilian channel SBT premiered a cut version of the movie on October 8, generating mixed reviews. A few days later, the DVD with the complete movie in Spanish was released, improving the reviews. On November 6, after a major advertising campaign, Cartoon Network followed suit and premiered the movie throughout Latin America. The Revenge of Makino ends up being a film born from Mattel's desire to do things right. It may not be the most original story in the saga, but the animation, script, and direction magnificently deliver a more mature story than usual, very much in keeping with its time.
