If it weren't for this relentless heat of around 32 degrees Celsius. ... one could fall unconditionally in love with Galicia. The landscape here is simply breathtaking: everything is in bloom, lush green, and the Camino de Santiago leads through cooling forests. It's a little bit like the Swabian Alps. Except nobody speaks Swabian here... "Nice here! But have you ever been to Baden-Württemberg?" This saying is plastered all along the Camino Francés on guardrails and traffic signs. But here... it really is JUST AS beautiful. (says a self-confessed Swabian!)
