The Barrow Way Canal Walk At Monasterevin
#irishlandscape #irishtourism #canalwalk The Barrow Way is a beautiful 117-kilometer long-distance trail in Ireland, following historic canal towpaths and the River Barrow. The entire trail stretches from Robertstown in County Kildare to the monastic village of St. Mullins in County Carlow. The Barrow Way is most commonly divided into shorter, more manageable sections and there is a part of one of them that I like to visit by the town of Monasterevin, in County Kildare. I’ve walked here with family and, for solitude, by myself. Join me, here, for a short canal walk through the vibrant, autumn landscape. Location: Monasterevin Town, County Kildare, Ireland.
