Samurai Warriors - New Officer's Tale 1 | Battle of Okehazama (Xbox 360)

Interestingly, we start on the Imagawa's side, giving the New Officer a unique stage right away. It's pretty basic though, like they made it to be a beginner stage with simple missions. But I'd argue you'd need to be somewhat advanced to even clear New Officer Mode to unlock this lol. I showed off the armored samurai model here, which I think is the coolest looking male model. His name is DOJI because I was trying to see if using specific names gave a stat boost, but it seems that only works for the JP version. He's using the Sword moveset, which is pretty good. -C1 has a long start up before dealing out a heavy swing combo that ends with a shockwave. Would be good if it didn't take so long to get out. -C2 launches the enemy, then jumps up and slashes them before slashing them back down. Great for officers. -C3 is a somewhat slow sword combo, but not as bad as C1 so definitely more viable. -C4 does several slashes back and forth while sliding forward. Very effective. -Musou simply does some diagonal sword swings while stepping forward, it's decent. -S-string is good up until the final hit, where it's an auto-targeting thrust that can easily aim for something you don't want and is bad for trying to get around an enemy's guard. This stage really should have had a mission to defeat Nobunaga first, since most of the other missions won't even trigger until you've done that, but you might avoid fighting him out of fear of ending the stage too early. Ieyasu attempts to retreat after defeating him when Yoshimoto gets ambushed by Noh's ninjas, and will defect if he reaches the end of the map. That'll cause Hanzo to appear and give you a mission to defeat him. Otherwise if you reach him in time, your CAW calls him out on it and he stays on your side, but no Hanzo appearance. It's better to have him defect for more EXP, especially if you want weapons since Ieyasu and Hanzo are two enemies that drop weapons in this stage. The only other enemy that does is Katsuie, who is usually defeated by Imagawa officers if left alone.
