Buffalo Springfield - Bluebird [Long Version - Remastered]

Comparing the now-standard 2018 remaster with the 1973 mix of the extended version of Bluebird, I realized that: the 1973 mix of the main section of the song is very similar to the 1967 mix, but it has a narrower stereo image. the transition section from 3:09 to 3:22 is centered on the stereo image on the 1973 mix, whereas it's on the right speaker on the 1967 stereo mix. So, I worked with a needle-drop of the 1973 LP and EQ'd it. I widened the stereo image of the 1973 mix to match the main section of the song to the 2018 remaster of the 1967 mix. Additionally, I EQ'd it as closely as possible. Even after widening the stereo image of the needle drop, the transition section was still mono (or centered). Thus, from 3:09 to 3:22, it remains the 2018 remaster, but with the stereo image narrowed to reflect the mix as presented on the double LP compilation. The jam coda comes from the 'remixed' needle-drop of the 1973 LP. So, all in all, I think I have achieved a better sounding representation of the extended version of Bluebird.
