This is Part 2 of my sim racing build series—and this time the focus is on a budget-friendly, flexible Formula 1 setup that actually fits into real life. Instead of a permanent rig and expensive monitor setup, this build uses a TV you already own, a console, and a fully collapsible cockpit that can be packed away when you’re done racing. It’s designed to keep costs down without losing that immersive, low-slung Formula-style driving position. The setup features the Playseat Challenge DD – F1 Edition, paired with the Logitech G RS50 direct drive system, RS Track Wheel, and RS Pedals, delivering strong, responsive performance in a compact footprint. I’ve also added the Logitech G Astro A50 X wireless headset to round things out with immersive, low-latency audio. In this video, I walk through the full build, unbox each component, and share my first impressions—including how it all comes together on track.
