Subaru Impreza STi Spec C Type RA-R Tunnel Runs, Accelerations & Screaming EJ20!

Yesterday I had the immense pleasure to record one of the rarest Subaru ever made, moreover considered by purist the best Impreza ever. Yes yes I know what you're thinking: the 22B is the greatest Impreza ever! How can I disagree? But I'm pretty sure those 8 years that separates the 22B and the 2006 RA-R were used by Subaru to improve their cars in terms of performance and driveability so that's why this last one is so special. Only 300 Spec C RA-Rs ("Record Attempt – Racy") were made for the Japanese market: 125 white examples, 125 blue and only 50 in "Vivid Yellow" like the one in this video. Under the hood there's a special and improved 2.0-liter EJ20 (EJ207 DG9EE) engine with a twin-scroll turbo, a revised intake and exhaust (coming with stock equal length headers, which cause it to sound different compared to the usual flat-4 rumble) and a unique ECU that allow to have a linear power output between 2000-8000rpm: 320 hp, 430 Nm of torque. The car is 70 kgs lighter then a standard STi, plus thanks to Brembo 6-pistons callipers, a lower and revised suspension setup and Subaru's Symmetrical AWD System this car behaves magnificently on winding roads and on track. It also have an intercooler water spray with a 12 liters tank behind rear seat. You could choose to fit or not a little black spolier on the rear. Given it's a Japanese-market only special edition, all the 300 examples are right-hand drive, but my friend's RA-R was converted to left-hand drive in Japan before being shipped to Europe. Well it's something that denaturalize the car, to be honest, but now he can better enjoy it on Italian roads. Another feature of this RA-R in this video is that it has been fitted with a fully de-catted exhaust with the original 80mm STi muffler.
