The seventh episode of the Boat Race 2026 commercial series, "From Zero to Pro: Instructor Machida's Story," starring Keita Machida, First Summer Uika, Katsuhisa Namase, Kanata Hosoda, Seira Anzai, and Haruto Yoshida, was released on July 1st. It began airing on the same day. Episode 7 is titled "Kanata's Growth." Kanata (Hosoda), a troubled student who once struggled to keep up with training and was even in danger of being expelled, finally sees his earnest efforts bear fruit.
