Simple Flapper Hairstyle for Long Hair ~ Faux Marcel Waves (Pin Waves) and a 30-second Bun

Today's video is for an easy, quick flapper hairstyle. This style uses "pin-waves" to create a wave similar to marcel waves, but without the hassle and damage from curling irons. The final result is a late 1910's/ early 1920's look, that could be accessorized to your taste (I didn't bother adding anything to mine but a scarf, hair comb, feather clip, etc could be added to dress it up a bit). While I love this hairstyle for an easy everyday style, pinwaves can be unpredictable. If you are doing this for an event, you may want to touch up the waves a bit with a curling iron and use a pomade to control frizz.
