VIA Rail Train 627 New Fleet Siemens Charger, Coaches, Cab Car HIGH SPEED Testing On Main Line

Date: Dec 3, 2021 This is the first time the new train has been out on the mainline under its own power doing 95mph!! After seeing it roll by the Cornwall VIA Station, I had heard they were going to be delayed for a bit of traffic at Bergen. I relocated to mile 90 on the Canadian National Railway's Kingston Sub (just east of Morrisburg, ON) where I was able to catch them flying back and forth multiple times at high speeds. While catching the new fleet I also saw a couple of freight trains, CN148 with CN 3020 (ET44AC), CN 3119 (ET44AC) as well as CN322 with CN 3265 (ET44AC). As 322 was passing by, the new train set was also heading eastbound and was quickly gaining on their tail end. You can see the bright blue glow from the LED head lights and ditch lights of the VIA. Two cameras were used to capture different view points and angles of each train as it passes by. Both views have been included. In the lead is cab car #VIA2300 followed by coaches SIIX 2800, 2900, 2700, 2600 and lastly Siemens Charger SC-42 Locomotive #VIA2200.
