I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS MUSIC • “Let this month of chaos begin, this month of celebration. Long live the most badass fair in the entire f***ing universe, long live the San Marcos Fair!” roared Carin León AGUASCALIENTES, AGS.- Amid applause, lights, and songs that everyone sang along to, Carín León opened the artistic lineup of the 2026 San Marcos National Fair with a spectacular performance and a Palenque (cockfighting arena) that, although not completely sold out, was practically full and vibrant. The musical inauguration of the so-called “Best Fair in Mexico” kicked off with an overflowing energy that remained strong throughout the entire performance. The concert began with his hit version of “Tú,” released in 2020, followed by “Secuelas de Amor,” a song that prompted the audience to join in a thrilling chorus that resonated throughout the fairgrounds. From the very first minutes, the audience made it clear that they were ready for an intense night. During a brief pause, Carín addressed the nearly full Palenque crowd: “Good evening, Aguascalientes. Back with you, back to have a great time, back to save two or three broken hearts, to help you with your problems; welcome, long live the San Marcos Fair!” He finished with a phrase that unleashed collective euphoria: “Let this month of chaos begin, this month of celebration. Long live the most badass fair in the whole f***ing universe, long live the San Marcos Fair!” The energy surged even higher when he performed “Como Lo Hice Yo” (How I Did It), a hit he achieved with Matisse, but which this time he sang with Johana Siaruqui, a member of the choir and a native of Hermosillo, Sonora. The audience overflowed with their deepest emotions with this unexpected collaboration. From then on, the Sonoran native continued stringing together hit after hit, while the audience sang along to every verse without losing any intensity. The first musical night of the 2026 San Marcos National Fair was marked by an unforgettable concert, full of emotion, power and moments that will remain in the memory of those who experienced this spectacular start at the Palenque.
