The concert’s featured work, The Hope of Loving by award-winning artist Jake Runestad, explores the concept of love, and how it affects our lives. Additional selections included The Awakening by Joseph M. Martin, a moving composition about the glory of song; Aaron Copland’s rousing Zion’s Walls; and an inspiring rendition of the Battle Hymn of the Republic; plus others. A string quartet and piano accompanied the performance. The concert was a great success.
